Pamela Price is the District Attorney of Alameda County California.
Ms.Price in 2023 was receiving more than 50 percent of the vote. She is the first Black woman to serve as District Attorney in Alameda County.
Less than a year after she was elected, an advocacy group led by wealthy individuals and real estate developers began campaigning for her recall alleging that she is responsible for the high crime rate in Oakland, California.
Pamela Price campaigned on a platform of criminal justice reform focusing on police accountability, data-driven reforms, rehabilitation, and ending racial disparity in prosecutions.
